This action has not been taken for private sellers. But it is against those dealers who are posing as private sellers taking the advantage to sell cars easily and freely by parking them at the roadside. This not hampers business for reputed motor traders but also creates annoyance for the families and nearby houses. Just imagine waking up one fine morning and seeing a bunch of people in your lane negotiating for a car. Thus is definitely not required by the families and Cumbria council is trying it's best to stop this nuisance.

And this can be easily stopped by them if got in light as these dealers are breaking the environmental laws and lowering trade standard and also breaking trade regulations. And a warning has already been issued by the Cumbria Trading Standards which states that all such vehicles illegally parked for selling by the dealers will be removed from the roadside verges.

Trading standards cabinet member for the Cumbria County Council, Mr. Gary Strong agrees that the illegal trading is creating nuisance and also added that this illegal trading is currently taking up a lot of car parking space which is originally been allotted for the residents in the area. He promises to resolve the issue quickly with the assistance of his enforcing team.

Trading Standards manager Angela Jones warned both the consumers and the traders. The traders to remove the car soon and the consumers to be careful against such illegal trading as they numbers given cannot be traced to the address and they will never be able to get back to the traders after the sale in case of any trouble.
